# Terms of *use*

**Draft, to be reviewed before launch.** The plain-language version of how Local Three works and what you can expect from us.

Our promise

“Selection is never for sale. Businesses don’t know they are being considered, and no one who sells advertising sees a selection before it is published.”

Local Three editors

In short

## The essentials

- Our selections are editorial opinions based on our published method and public data.
- Ratings and review counts come from public review platforms and can change between updates.
- Sponsored placements are always labelled and are never part of the three.
- A quote request is between you and the businesses you choose; we only pass it on.
- Businesses must keep the details they edit on a claimed profile accurate.

Local *Three*

Three local businesses worth considering, chosen by editors in each city we cover.
