# When we get it *wrong*

A wrong phone number or an old price lets a reader down, and we would rather hear about it. Anyone can send a correction: a reader, the business itself, even a competitor.

We reply within five working days

## Tell us what’s wrong

Email [corrections@thelocalthree.com](mailto:corrections@thelocalthree.com) with the page address, what’s wrong and what is right. A link to a source, such as a license record or the business’s own website, helps most.

**We check it.** Against the business’s own records and public sources such as state license and county records.

2.

**We fix it, or explain why not.** Either way you get a reply within five working days.

3.

**We log it.** Significant changes are dated on the page they affect.

## Facts, not opinions

We correct facts: phone numbers, hours, prices, service areas, rules. Our editorial judgement, meaning who we select and why, isn’t something a correction can change. If you think we chose badly, tell us anyway; we read every message and it goes into the next edition’s review.
